helllooo. it's emma if you didn't get that from the title? hah.. well i've re-joined the tip account because suddenly i've had a rush of ideas so, i just contacted nora and asked her to let me come back. she was so so sweet in letting me join again! this is my first tip back xx.
- Basically, my hair is very very thick and wavy. My hair is a medium-blonde color but it's darker at the roots and underneath, although I don't dye it. I believe it's from the use of Sun In last summer (: This is how I take care of my hairrr -

• The shampoo that I use is the Garnier Fructis 'Hydra-Recharge'. I've repurchased it (I usually switch up my shampoo a lot) because it's really helped to put so much moisture back into my heat-damaged hair!
• I also use the Garnier Fructis 'Hydra-Recharge' conditoner for the same reasons listed above.
• In the shower, I sometimes use various treatments for my hair.
- L'Oreal Paris 'Moisture Rush' hair mask.. I've used up the whole tub of this and I really, really love it. It D O E S deliver a rush of moisture, as soon as I rinse it out of my hair. If your hair is dry and damaged, I highly reccomend it.
- Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Daily Treatment. I've just purchased it and so far I love it! It's supposed to make your hair smooth and soft, and so far I've been liking the results.

• I brush out my hair with a wide-tooth comb, which reduces breakage in hair over time.
• I seperate my hair into two sections and apply one pump of the Garnier Fructis 'Hydra-Recharge' Moisture Whip Leave-In conditioner. This whole line of products is forumlated for dry hair, so it just really works all together and I highly reccomend each of the three products.
- Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum. I've had this since about last April, and I still have a bit left in the bottle. It sells for $12 and it's a good investment because it lasts longer than other three, four, or five dollar serums you may see and it is also better quality. It had smoothed out my hair S O much and I love it.

• After my hair is dried, which takes a while (At least a whole day and a half, my hair is that thick!), I spray TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer leave in spray onto my hair and section it off, clipping half my hair on top of my head.
• I usally straighten, using a BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium 1 1/4" Straightening Iron. It works very well and I can straighten my super-thick hair in about thirty minutes. The heat goes up to 450 degrees, and it straightens hair up to 40% faster than ordinary flat irons
• My hair in the set pictured is not my natural hair, I curled it. I use the Remington Ceramic Pearl Style Wand (1 to 1&1/2 inches). It's black and pink and around twenty to thirty dollars. The heat goes up to 410 degrees.
• I curl different sized sections of my hair, sometimes only curling the ends of a section of hair, or the whole peice of hair, to get a varied, messy & curly look. That's what I did in the pictures above.
• To help the curls last, I spray them with Got 2b Rockin' It 4Ever Stylestay Hairspray. I personally think it's a good hairspray, but nothing special.

• Last may, I had a salon treatment done to my hair. It's called 'Opti-Smooth', and it took about three hours of sitting in a salon to complete the process. It cost around three hundred dollars, but it's supposed to have less chemicals and less harm for your hair than the Brazilian Blowout, or Keratin.
• I was instructed by my stylist that my hair should only be washed once or twice a week.
• Opti-Smooth generally wears off after three months. It doesn't straighten your hair, but it makes it easier to straighten, easier to handle, and it overall looks smoother and softer after straightening.
• When I get haircuts, I get very short trims because I'm trying to grow my hair out. Most of the time, I have my stylist cut off whatever amount she thinks is healthy for my hair, as long as it isn't cutting too much off.
